Payment and Shipping

 

Will accept check, money orders, RevolutionMoneyExchange (RME), Google Checkout, or Paypal.  For RME, please send me your email address, and I email you an invoice and request payment at RME.  Payment is due within three (3) days of purchase or invoice.  If buying books, movies, or CDs, please wait for invoice to get your discounted shipping rate and/or book lot discount (or I will do a partial refund if through Paypal).  If mailing payment, must mail payment within three (3) days of invoice; please let me know when payment has been put into the mail. 

 

Shipping cost and time:  Shipping is based on weight and buyer's postal code and includes a $2.00 handling fee which pays for overhead costs such as packaging, mileage to the post office, ink and paper for shipping labels, etc.  Shipping is within two (2) business days of receiving cleared payment.  Checks and money orders are deposited the day after they are received, and I will contact you to let you know the money has been received and deposited.  The bank has a five (5) business day hold on personal checks and a one to two (1-2) business day hold on cashier’s checks and money orders.         

Combined shipping on free shipping items:  If all items have free shipping, shipping for the entire invoice will be free.  If one item has free shipping and another does not, you will be invoiced for the additional shipping cost of the second item.  This usually will be fairly low (under $1.50) unless the second item is very heavy.
 

Shipping method:  USPS parcel post or media mail (depending on item) or upgraded method.  For media items, Buy It Sell It does not have a media mail calculator, so please wait for invoice if paying by check or money order.  If you wish to keep the parcel post method, please let me know when you pay (as I understand things, it gets a slightly higher priority when packing USPS trucks).  For Paypal orders, you can either wait for invoice or I will refund the difference between Parcel Post or First Class and Media Mail.

 

INSURANCE:  I package our items carefully in order to protect them.  However, sometimes they still get damaged or lost in the postal system.  As this is a small business, we do not assume liability for postal loss or damage.  We do offer USPS insurance on all packages at USPS cost. 

 

Returns

 

Your satisfaction is important to us, so we will accept returns on any item that is significantly not as described.  For books, you must contact me within 24 hours of receipt in order for me to process a return.  For other items, you must contact me within 3 days in order for me to process a return.  We may ask you to email pictures of damage.
